I found a cat. What do I do?

Cats can often appear lost and wanting food – this doesn’t necessarily mean they are a stray! If the cat appears to be a healthy weight and well groomed, it might be owned. Ask your neighbours if they recognise the cat, or post a photo on local community Facebook groups. If there are no visible signs of ownership, take the cat to your local vet clinic so that they can check for a microchip.

  1. Hi Guys have spoken to you in the past, well over a year ago. There’s always been a little black long haired fixed female cat that belonged to the last owners.
I have been feeding her on and off .
I’m in the process of moving and she going to be left behind again
its really upsetting that i cant find a home for her .
I can’t keep her as she doesn’t get on with my 2 cats I’m fully of worry and stress thinking that she is agaun being left .

    1. Hi Jodie
Our website has not been sending us messages, so I’ve just found this. What address is this please?
